Ive previously done a softmod on my radeon 9800 pro but it never really worked that well so i not want to flash the BIOS to 9000XT.
I have fitted a Artic Cooler Rev 3 onto the card so it should be fine.
Im not sure wether its a R350 or R360 but as its pretty old i would assume its a R350.
Can someone help me out as ive never flashed a graphics card BIOS before and im a little nervous.
Cheers

(. The 9800 XT takes uses only one slot but the heatsink/fan assembly encroaches on slot 2. However, the back plate is still available for such things as the 8 port Internal-to-External SATA Port Adapter from MacGurus). Download anime bokura ga ita sub indo 360p. At first glance, it appears the X800 XT Mac Edition should give you equal or better performance than GeForce 6800 Ultra for an aftermarket price equal to the. The Radeon 9800 XT is based on ATI’s R360 chip, which is essentially a minor revision of the R350 chip used in the Radeon 9800 Pro. The chip is still fabbed by TMSC using 0.15-micron process.

Cool ta, what about flashing the BIOS?

I did have the instructions at one time can't remember. I know it involve's putting some files and the bios you wont on floppy and a win98 startup disk because the card needs to be flashed in dos. You can also make a backup of the original bios and I'd advise you to do this first. Also make sure you get the right make ie ati, creative

Let me know how you get on, I have the same model (9800 Pro -R350) and currently am looking to do the same as you.
Do you have you card currently overclocked? What clock rates can you get up to?

Hey, well i did tempory but it dint go anywhere really because the stock cooler was crap.
Since then i refomated and resently fitted a VGA cooler Rev 3.
Now i just want to flash the bios because im sure it would be better, and i end up reformating every 3 month so it would be good.
Just need to find the file really.

The Radeon 9800 XT Mac Edition was a graphics card by ATI, launched in March 2004. Built on the 150 nm process, and based on the R360 graphics processor, in its R360 variant, the card supports DirectX 9.0. Since Radeon 9800 XT Mac Edition does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The R360 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 218 mm² and 117 million transistors. It features 8 pixel shaders and 4 vertex shaders, 8 texture mapping units, and 8 ROPs, . Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). ATI has paired 256 MB DDR memory with the Radeon 9800 XT Mac Edition, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 412 MHz, memory is running at 365 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, the ATI Radeon 9800 XT Mac Edition does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 60 W maximum. Display outputs include: 2x DVI. Radeon 9800 XT Mac Edition is connected to the rest of the system using an AGP Pro 8x interface.
