The problem is that the old DOS / MS-DOS games will not start on new Windows computers. To solve the issue, you can use this utility to emulate that environment and play the game. It works in more than 90% of old DOS games.

How to use it to start a game

• create a folder D:mygames (you can name it as you want). You can create it on D or another drive letter, it does not matter.
• start DOSBOX and type mount c d:mygames

This command means mount as c (this is an arbitrary name, it has nothing to do with your actual C drive letter, so no worry) the folder created in the previous step

• then type c: to switch the path into that folder. After that, you must see C: at the beginning of the line like in this image.

• type the name of EXE file and the game will begin. If the game is in a folder inside mygames folder, type cd gamefolder

In my case, the game Doom is in mygamesdoomDOOM.EXE, so I type cd doom, hit Enter, then i type the name of .exe file and hit Enter

Now the game started.

To make the game fullscreen, lick once inside the game screen, then press ALT + ENTER. To reverse, press again the same keys.
