Feb 02, 2007  King's Quest VI, Windows XP, and DOS Emulator Does anyone know where I can buy or download a DOS emulator to play King's Quest VI? I don't know much about emulators. To have King's Quest: Mask of Eternity added, be sure install it separately before running the patcher and select the Mask of Eternity option. Note that the option for the Windows version of KQ6 is valid for only 32-bit Windows. 64-bit users will have to use the DOS version in DOSBox.

How to install and play the game

The file you are downloading is a special package created by GamesNostalgia so that you can easily run this DOS gameon Windows Vista, 7 and 10, without any additional effort. The archive includes the required emulator (ScummVM) and it's already configured. All you need to do is uncompress the ZIP or 7z file into your Games folder (e.g. C:OldGames),then open the folder of the Game, and double click the icon 'Name of the Game' (it's a '.bat' file). How to install and play the game

Files for Mac can be run on all versions of OS X.You need to uncompress the 7z archive using the proper software (please use Keka to avoid problems). If the archive contains a DMG, double click it to mount the disk.After that, drag & drop the game icon into Applications (or another folder, Desktop will be fine too).New versions of MacOS block applications from identified developers. If you have this problem, just press Ctrl while clicking the game icon, and select Open.Alternatively you can use the “Open Anyway” button in the General pane of Security & Privacy preferences.
